Historical introduction about the branch

foundation and its development stages :

The branch of the company is one of the oldest branches. Its foundation dates back to more than 40 years. The branch took a lot of care to supply the petroleum derivatives (Diesel, Benzene, Kerosene) within the geographic zone of the branch, since it covered 10 governorates and declined gradually when new branches were opened in some governorates because of the expansion and now covers four governorates: Sana’a – Omran – Hajja – Al-Mahuit; and owns the branch storage installation for petroleum products such as at the Al-Sabbaha Installation, which represents a strategic reserve for the company and is used to offset any shortage which could occur in the market so as the products rest available continuously in all governorates located in the geographic zone of the branch.

The Al-Subbaha Installation contains 11 eleven storage tanks distributed as follows:

1.Six Benzene tanks

2.Five Diesel tanks.

And to develop the branch assets, the branch added to what already exists by adding fixed assets represented by lands as a moving site connected to installations and building annexes in the branch and reparation of some works in the installations.

The company leadership makes efforts to increase the storage capacity by increasing the number of tanks in correlation to the increase in demand in the local market for the petroleum derivatives.

Quick And Brief Information about the Governorate :

Sana’a governorate is characterized from the rest of governorates by being located between the capital secretariat and the rest of the governorates, and enjoys a diversity of both urban and rural characteristics which makes it distinctive especially in terms of population density and its civilization history.
