We, in the Republic of Yemen, welcome all investors and invite them to more closely get to know this blessed land which Allah has bestowed with attractive geological features and a mineral abundance, not simply in the petroleum and gas industry, but extending to into indescribable mineral treasures. Scientific research and study have indicated the abundance of these minerals in huge quantities. It is an abundant wealth diversified in various regions on the map of the country which Allah Almighty has honored by saying “A territory fair and happy; and a Lord Oft-Forgiving.”

It has become known that the investment climate in this fair and happy land is privileged with direct and attentive care under the auspices of His Excellency the President of the Republic. President Hadi's role had the greatest impact toward granting investors lucrative options and opportunities for investment.

And here, I call upon brothers and friends alike who are within the investment arena, and are on a regular follow-up basis of the developments and changes that Yemen is experiencing, to take advantage of the lucrative investment climate (in the of opportunities) and to grab hold of these investment opportunities while they remain in their growth cycle bearing great promise in their development.

Yemen today is looking at the petroleum industry with an investment eye, taking into consideration: the need to simplify investment opportunities and expand them, practicing an open door policy and transparency; all geared towards the better good of the country and the investor and also for the good of the capital investments that are flowing today in these fields.

Today, it has become possible for us to tell investors and companies (who are far sighted) that Yemen is now closer to your successes and that the doors are open.

I want to say: the language of reality speaks clearly of efforts being done, and works continuing and developing, to reach the highest level of ambition, by utilizing effective mechanisms and allowing opportunities for a wider array of companies and stronger skills and better technologies all by the Grace of Allah Almighty.
