At the beginning, we have the pleasure to present our greetings to those with the interest to know the role our administration plays.

We try to reach the highest level of services and techniques with the support and the encouragement of the company leadership presented by The Executive General Director Mr. Omar Mohammed Al-Arhabi, in parallel to the developments occurring in the country in the last years under the shadow of the builder of the new Yemen revival and who realized its historical unity President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Establishment of the branch, its development stages and its functions and projects :

Fuel quality, international specifications, and the safety of its usage are three essential elements representing the axis of the attention of the Yemen Petroleum Company in the management of Airplanes fueling with fuel – Sana’a International airport is the company window for the airplanes fuel marketing field according to standards and accurate scientific bases.

Herein, we are pleased to present a simple breviary about this enterprise which represents one of the Yemen Petroleum Company branches specialized in Airplanes Fuel marketing in Sana’a International Airport which performed these functions since the middle of the sixties of the last century, and it is in continuous development conformable with the development size in the airplanes fuel marketing field and the development of tools and instruments for International quality control.

Brief History about Sana’a:

Sana’a is the political and historical capital of the Republic of Yemen. It is considered to be one of the oldest cities in the world, where as, its date of appearance isn’t known precisely. It was called long ago as (Sam) relative to Sam the son of Noah; and of its other known historical names (Azal), which is a name for one of Kahtan sons and one of its most important historical traces (Gamdan Palace).

Sana’a city is located in the middle of the fertilized Yemen plateau in the basin of Sana’a between two mountains of a series of higher rising mountains (Nuqum) mountain from the east and (Aiban) mountain from the west. It rises 2350 m. above sea level, Sana’a city is about 227 km. from the Yemen western coast and 400 km. from the south coast.

Sana’a city is characterized by a moderate climate, with a shining sun along the year. Its mean temperature degree reaches 25 degrees Celcius during the summer season Winter season is characterized during the night hours with cold reaching zero.
